    Part of an Agile DevOps team managing K8s on Google Cloud, where I work on:
    • Automating SQL/NoSQL database migrations.
    • Building infrastructure with Google Cloud.
    • Maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
    • Improving software.

Professional experience - internship

Network research and development intern, D3TN GmbH, software R&D company.
June 2025 - October 2025 | Dresden, Germany.
    Research and development of a BGP extension for propagating EID reachability information in DTNs as part of the DARKSOL space Cloud project.
    • Design of a draft BGP multiprotocol extension (RFC 4760).
    • Implementation of said extension in the BIRD Internet Routing Daemon (in C) and Hermes, a separate DTN-compatibility layer written in Rust.
    • Integration with Linux and Kubernetes systems.
    • Build of software and container images, setup of dev shell environments with Nix.
    • Redaction of comprehensive documentation.
    • Redaction and presentation of a paper (available here) as part of the STINT 2025 workshop.
    • Thought work in preparation for an RFC draft to properly define the extension with the community.
